Teddy's Story

Teddy is the sweetest five year old - a smart, social and kind Kindergartener. He is the mayor of his school, always welcoming friends new and old with a hug and high-five. He loves playing cars with his brother, using tools with his Uncle Greg, coloring, spending time outside and cuddling his Mom and Dad. Teddy was diagnosed at the age of 1.5 in 2019, rocked his Stem Cell Transplant in 2020 and continues to amaze us all with his bravery as he navigates medical appointments with a smile and the occasional request for a cookie. Tough like Teddy is a tagline we coined at diagnosis, and he has certainly exceeded expectations.  The Hunter Syndrome diagnosis is devastating and there is no cure. Teddy certainly faces challenges, but there is hope. The Ferullo family is dedicated to the mission of Project Alive, as Julie and Dave are honored to sit on the Board.
